KBVB stated that they have not yet withdrawn FIFA’s daily clarifications regarding the admission of the USA national team forward to the 1/8 final match of the World Cup 2026.

The Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB) published an official statement following FIFA's decision to automatically disqualify US national team striker Folarin Balogun before the match in the 1/8 finals.

In its statement, the Belgian side said that it respects the actions of FIFA indiscriminately, and also raised doubts about the continuation of procedures and principles of fair competition.
