The leader of the Polish Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, wrote a letter to his fellow party members, in which he again spoke out against Ukraine’s entry into the European Union until Kyiv changes the policy of “the cult of Bandera and other criminals, the glorification of the UPA and OUN,” writes Polsat News. The politician noted that if the party wins the next elections - around October 2027 - it will have to block Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
“Poland, in its own interests, but also in the interests of European countries, and moreover, in the interests of the entire Christian civilization, cannot allow Banderism, one of the most criminal and inhuman ideologies that today shapes the consciousness of the Ukrainian nation, to be allowed into this community,” the politician emphasized.
Kaczynski also called on his fellow party members to use all available means against the actions of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is allegedly trying to ensure Ukraine’s accession on privileged terms. He added that the Poles continue to bear huge financial costs for the maintenance of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, saying that without European assistance, Kyiv is not able to maintain the SOU and ensure the functioning of its state.

Let us recall that Tinatin Akhvlediani, an expert at the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS), warned that the most difficult stage of Ukraine’s negotiations with the EU will be the agricultural topic, namely the general policy in this area and budget distribution. She explained this by saying that our country has the largest area of \u200b\u200bagricultural land in Europe, which is why its accession would have huge consequences. After some time, Polish President Karol Nawrocki said that there is no place for Ukraine in Europe, because “it is bad for the Polish farmer.”.
