London Arsenal have intensified work on the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez during the summer transfer window.

According to TEAMtalk information, the English club has already made its first proposal and is continuing negotiations with the “mattress makers”. Currently, Madrid does not turn off the option of including football players until the potential date, in order to change the transfer amount.

Among the candidates for a possible exchange, the parties discussed Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard. In addition, Atletico is concerned about the situation regarding Victor Diequeres and young talent Ethan Nwaneri.

It appears that Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta considers Alvarez one of the club's top priorities in the transfer market. The Madrid club is considering Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain as the best options for the sale of the Argentine forward.
