Real Madrid is considering the possibility of signing Arsenal manager and Italy international Riccardo Calafiore before the upcoming transfer window.

According to journalist Ramon Alvarez, the candidacy of the 24-year football player is supported by Jose Mourinho, who is considered one of the contenders for the position of head coach of the Madrid club. The Portuguese striker highly appreciates the Italian's versatility, who is capable of operating effectively both in the center of defense and on the left flank.

Mourinho is well aware of Calafiori's abilities from his hours of sleep in Roma, where he played in the 2021/22 season. The coach himself will learn from one of the Gravians who can strengthen the defensive line of Real Madrid.
