The admission campaign continues in Ukraine. Thus, for the fifth year in a row, graduates will take national multi-subject testing (NMT) instead of the UPE. In accordance with the law, certain categories of applicants may receive educational benefits. The Ministry of Defense described how they simplified access to educational benefits for children of veterans.

What has changed in the provision of educational benefits for children of veterans.

The department explained that children of veterans and injured participants in the Revolution of Dignity, when applying for benefits for studying in vocational, professional pre-higher and higher education institutions, can choose from:.

or UBD certificate of one of the parents;

or an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans of one of the parents.

The Ministry of Defense added that in this case, an extract from the Register can be used on a par with a UBD certificate.

The department noted that you can receive an extract absolutely free of charge, quickly and regardless of the place of registration - either remotely through the Diya portal, or in paper form at the Central Administrative Office.

“If such an extract is independently ordered by a child under the age of 23 (or his representative), the request must be accompanied by a certificate of the education applicant from the Unified State Electronic Database for Education (USEB),” the message says..

The Ministry of Defense explained that at the request of the applicant, an extract is generated in electronic or paper form. The document contains a unique electronic identifier for verification of authenticity.

Also, from now on, an extract from the Unified State Register of Veterans contains additional useful information: which body or commission granted the person veteran status, the date of its assignment and legal grounds.
