The ex-coach of Real Madrid and Liverpool stripped the 20-time Greek champion.

Panathinaikos on its official website voted about the dismissal of head coach Rafael Benitez.

The parties intended to terminate the contract after the end of this season.

The 66-year-old Spaniard has defeated the Greek club from the events of the past. Under his leadership, the team played 41 matches – 20 wins, 11 draws and ten losses with a goal difference of 60:44.
