Chelsea are optimistic about the progress of winger Estevan Willian after an important injury. BBC Sport reports this.

The 19-year-old Brazilian footballer had a serious repair to the back of his knee last month during the match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. Due to the injury, he will have to miss the upcoming World Championships at the Brazilian harvest warehouse.

However, the London club believes that Estevan will be able to return to the game already at an early stage of pre-season preparation and take part in Chelsea's tour to Australia and Asia under the care of new head coach Xabi Alonso.

According to Dzherel, positive dynamics have become possible through an individual rehabilitation program. The footballer took three major steps, during which he underwent part of the renewal in Brazil, before turning back to London to support the team in the FA Cup finals and the final matches of the season.

During the summer tour, Chelsea will play two matches in Australia and three more in Asia.
