The medical screening program for Ukrainians, under which citizens over the age of 40 can receive UAH 2,000 for medical services, has become more accessible. Two key restrictions have been lifted - you can apply for payment today, instead of waiting a month after your birthday.

Previously, you had to wait 30 days after your birthday. Now - if you are already 40 years old, submit an application to Dii or the nearest CNAP without reference to the date.

After the funds are credited, you have two months to undergo an examination at the selected medical institution. If the funds are not used, they will automatically return to the state budget. In this way, the authorities want to plan the burden on the healthcare system and at the same time encourage people not to put off taking care of their own health.

Important: those who received funds before May 1, 2026 can use them until June 30, 2026.

Since the beginning of the program, more than 34 thousand Ukrainians have already been screened, and the number of applications submitted has exceeded 340 thousand. The total amount of payments is more than 588 million hryvnia. The service is available in about 2,000 medical institutions throughout the country, which provides wide access to examinations regardless of region of residence. After submitting the application and crediting the funds, all that remains is to select a medical institution and sign up for an examination.
