Warsaw has a final match of the Polish Cup for the 2025/2026 season, which took place between Gornik Zabrze and Czestochowa Rakow. The match ended with the victory of the nominal rulers from the score 2:0, and one of the main heroes of the battle became the Ukrainian winger Maxim Khlan.

Gurnik opened the door in the middle of the first half - on the 32nd half, Massy with a light kick propelled his team forward, setting the tone for the further game. In the other half of the team, Lukasz Podolsky’s club has consolidated its superiority due to the individual mastery of Khlan.

An exgraver of the youth national team of Ukraine was clearly aware of the episode: noting that goalkeeper Rakuva had lost his position, the Ukrainian cold-bloodedly punched through the youma on the pass, subduing the rakhunok. For Maksim, this trophy became a must-have item for the first season in the warehouse of the team from Zabrze.

Unfortunately, the Ukrainian derby did not take place in the finals. Rakuv's senior Vladislav Kochergin was unable to help his team and was afraid to take care of the team's reserves - Gravets continued his recovery through an important knee injury.

Having achieved victory, Gornik broke his trophy drought by winning the Polish Cup for the first time in over 50 years (the club will re-establish itself by taking this title back in 1972). On top of the historic cup, the triumph in Warsaw secured the team a direct ticket to the European League for the upcoming European Cup season.
