“We are talking about a new stage of the eVidnovlenya program - “Housing for higher education with VOT”. The government decision has so far provided 6.6 billion UAH for the program. This will make it possible, first of all, to provide housing for about 3,300 families,” the minister said..

He explained that applicants who have already received a positive decision from the commission apply for a reservation through Diyu. If funding is available, the program operator, Ukrposhta, sends a message about successful booking within 5 days.

“After confirmation of funds, a person has 60 days to purchase housing - an apartment or house, invest in construction or use the funds as a down payment on a mortgage. The queue is formed automatically - based on the date and time of application submission. If the funds are not used within 60 days, they are returned to the system and moved next in line,” Kuleba explained..

As the minister noted, the housing voucher is valid for 5 years and guarantees financing for the purchase of housing within a certain amount.
