Who can be excluded from military registration.

Experts explained that every male citizen of Ukraine who has reached the age of 18, according to the law “On mobilization preparation and mobilization,” is required to carry a military registration document with him. But not every citizen is registered with the military.

Lawyers noted that in accordance with Part. 6 tbsp. 37 of the Law "

death or recognition in accordance with the procedure established by law as missing or declared dead;

termination of Ukrainian citizenship;

recognition of unfitness for military service in accordance with the conclusion of the military medical commission;

reaching the age limit - 60 years.

Experts added that for certain categories of reserve officers the age limit has been increased to 65 years (according to the order of the Ministry of Defense No. 250 dated 12. 03. 2025).

“If a person falls into any of these categories, he can submit supporting documents to the TCC for exclusion from military registration. You can now submit documents not only in person, but also through an electronic account in the “Reserve+” system or the “Diya” portal, where the “Application for exclusion from registration” function is available,” the message says..

Lawyers noted that if a citizen is excluded from military registration in accordance with the last two points, his military registration document is not confiscated.
