Chernivetska Bukovina has already played its first match in the spring part of the Ukrainian Championship among First League clubs. Sergiy Shyshchenko's team defeated Sumy Victoria (3:1) and lost the leader in the tournament table with a solid lead from the closest rematches.

Moreover, Bukovina reached the semifinals of the Ukrainian Cup, where they play against Dynamo Kiev. Football. ua spoke with the coach of the Chernivtsi team, Vitaly Dakhnovsky, about the tournament prospects of his team and the focus of the match against the Kiyans.

– Vitaly, for you the spring part of the championship started a few days earlier than for most of the other teams of the First League, and you also played the quarterfinal match of the Ukrainian Cup. Why did everything work out for you in this match against LNZ and why didn’t everything go according to plan

- There’s a lot that didn’t work out, close up, in the attack. And in defense we spent everything we planned. For those whose matches we are dissatisfied with, we only play in the attack, so we can better play in front.

– She gave you this victory in the fact that if you make it to the UPL, you definitely won’t be ruined? Aje LNZ is one of the leaders of the championship.

– 100% added credit. We understand that we have a good team and coaching staff. We definitely won’t be ruined in the UPL, but we’ll get ahead of ourselves as the class progresses.

– You opened the spring part of the First League championship with victories over Victoria, one of three? Your team's goals were scored by you. Which enemies were lost in this match?

– I’ll say this: we didn’t play well enough to improve our game. In principle, we are happy that we were able to. We are going from game to game, we need to win steadily in order to get closer to the goal that we have to reach in the remaining 6-7 months.

– The first place and the great wind from the closest re-investigators give you a song of calm and all the same, it is a praise for the tournament task?

– We try not to be surprised by the tournament table, focusing on our own results. Our task is to win at the skin level, and those that our opponents spend points or gain are not so important for us. Of course, the great war against the superniks is not comfortable, but while they have a mathematical chance of catching us, we need to get some insurance. It's football and we can eat every day. That’s why we don’t care – concentrate on your own game and then everything will be fine. If we continue to play like we did in the first part of the season, then everything will be fine with us.

– Cup semi-final, Dynamo’s opponents. Before the draw, should the team sing that you will play with the mallets

– I already said in the comments of UPL TB that I thought and felt that we should destroy Dynamo. We will prepare very seriously for this game. Everything is within our power, there is nothing impossible. So, of course, with whom to play, this is a serious team, in which the strongest forces. We will try everything possible and impossible, so that we can give our place the opportunity to write a new story.

– Dynamo has already won 7 matches in the championship, and Matviy Ponomarenko has achieved the top scorers in the UPL. How can you pour your heart into such a Dynamo

– Somehow the series will end sooner or later. It doesn’t matter how many matches you can play: 5, 10, 15 or 20. High Dynamo wins all matches, except against Bukovina. Shchodo Ponomarenka is a good, strong football player, a forward striker. And we have Maxim Voytikhovsky, also a good goalscorer. Let us all play our best game. Aje, like the old football truth: the field is level, the ball is round, the goal is straight. Whoever scores one more ball for his opponent will win. I wonder what will happen to us.
