A modest zero draw in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Conference League between Czech Sigma and German Mainz lost its sporting significance due to a shocking incident. The German club lost one of its leaders - Silas, who recognized the motor injury that shook the stadium.
On the 65th line, Silas was fighting for the ball against a penalty opponent, the attacker fell on the lawn with a look of unbearable pain on his face, struggling for his head. The situation immediately looked critical: his teammates and the medical staff of the meeting rushed to help.
Footage from the broadcast shows those who learned of a very serious leg injury. There is a great fear that there may be a fracture of the great and small cysts. The episode looked so scary that the Mainz press service was unable to select censored words during the text broadcast of the match.
On the official page of the German club in social network X (the biggest Twitter) a message appeared: “It doesn’t look good. Laino, laino, laino! We can only be sure that they are not what we think about."
This injury is a major problem for the carnival workers, who are now struggling to balance between two extremely complex tasks: The club is fighting for its first ever advance to the quarter-finals of the European tournament. Draws on the road means a bad start, but the loss of the head creative in the attack before the home match is a completely complicated situation.
Currently, the team is waging a hard fight to save registration in the German Bundeslisa, where the presence of a skin gravel base is critically important. It is expected that Silas will have to undergo medical treatment in the near future, but the forecasts ahead are unbearable: Mainz will have to do without another very difficult hour.
