In Lviv you can often hear many interesting Galician words from local residents. But the meaning of these dialectisms sometimes remains unclear. These words include:.
ba? varnish – Rozmova;
bali? kati – balakati;
trinditi, tirinditi – tereveniti;
F? frati - speak untruthfully;
spree? hati – speak;
pashtala? kati – terevenity;
be? stati – cook;
Galya? kati – shout at someone;
gandrichitis - resist;
th? ykati – scream loudly;
yo? ykati – narikati;
sobichiti – cook;
baylyuvati – shaved;
lakhuvatisya (derti lakha) – mock;
dad - talk fools incessantly;
valve - mouth;
pashchekuvati, piskuva? ty – it’s rude to speak;
firkatisya - there is nothing to say about dissatisfaction;
povitsuvati – fire;
