Popular Ukrainian performer FIЇNKA spoke about the national selection for Eurovision 2026 this year. A participant in 2023 and 2025, during an interview for the radio station “Our Radio,” humorously stated that she sympathizes with the finalists.

" National selection is a kind of blood donation. You just don't have time to breathe there. I came home just to breathe because I didn’t have time. But it's a great experience. In a week or two you can live everything that artists, in principle, do not live throughout their lives. But as an artist who was at that National Selection twice, I can tell you that you won’t be satisfied with the National Selection alone. That is, to live for a year with only one national selection - well, it’s a kind of story,” she said.
