The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has prepared detailed instructions for verifying Starlink terminals for military and civilian citizens. The clarification was published for users throughout Ukraine, including entrepreneurs and government officials. The information was published in early February.
The instructions were posted in the official channel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The message emphasized the importance of disseminating this information and added that verification is necessary for the smooth operation of satellite communications. The department noted: “We have prepared instructions for verifying Starlink terminals for military and civilian Ukrainians, in particular for entrepreneurs and government officials.”.
The Ministry of Defense explained that verification of terminals makes it possible to limit enemy access to high-speed satellite Internet on the territory of Ukraine. They emphasized that the procedure applies to all Starlink users without exception.. For individuals and private entrepreneurs, it is necessary to collect information about the terminal, including serial numbers. The KIT number is indicated on the box, the UTID can be found in the account or application settings, you also need the user account number on the Starlink portal.
After this, you should prepare your passport and taxpayer card and contact the CNAP to submit an application to the administrator. The service is free.
For businesses, the procedure begins on February 3. Representatives of companies need to log in to the Diya portal using a qualified electronic signature, enter information about the terminal, check the information and sign the application.
