Watford head coach Javi Gracia leaves the club after just over three months on the job. The decision comes as a result of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Swansea.
Grace turned to Vicarage Road near Zhovtna, having suddenly abandoned the team, and after the near start of 2026, asking the leader of the club, Gino Pozzo, to discuss the difficult situation in the team.

We respect your decision and accept your decision to safely leave Vicarage Road."
The 55-year-old Spaniard during the first period of work brought Watford to the 11th place in the Premier League and the FA Cup final. In another period, he played just 21 games, having mostly won in the first 16 matches, but a series of setbacks for Sichna, including several matches without victories, and injuries to the graves delayed him before his retirement.
Grace also noted dissatisfaction with the club’s activity in the winter transfer market:.
“I’m very disappointed with the team, the situation in the team is perhaps imminent,” the coach said after the defeat at Swansea.
After the elimination, Grace Watford takes 10th place in the Championship, with a few points above the playoff zone.
