Lisbon Sporting officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Senegalese winger Souleymane Faye, who transferred to the Portuguese club from Spanish Granada.

According to Transfermarkt, the transfer amounted to 6.5 million euros. Faye has entered into a contract with Sporting until 2030, and the amount of available funds, stated in the agreement, is 80 million euros. The new team has a player with number 15.

In the 2025/2026 season, the winger played 21 matches: 19 matches in another division of the Spanish Championship and two more in the Spanish Cup. During this period, Faye recorded two goals scored and six assists.
