Minimum wage: how much you can get from January 1

In Ukraine, in accordance with Article 8 of the law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026”, from January 1 there was an increase in the minimum wage. Specialists from the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service told how the minimum wage has changed this year.

Derzhpratsi explained that in Ukraine, from January 1, 2026, the minimum monthly wage is UAH 8,647, and hourly – UAH 52.

Experts noted that the minimum wage is a state social guarantee, mandatory throughout Ukraine for enterprises of all forms of ownership and management and individuals using hired labor, according to any wage system.

“As defined in Article 3-1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Remuneration”, the amount of an employee’s salary for a fully fulfilled monthly (hourly) labor standard cannot be lower than the minimum wage,” the message says..
