Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi shared his deep emotions after the defeat against PSG in the French Super Cup match. The main hour of the match ended with a 2:2 draw, and in the penalty shootout the Parisians emerged stronger - 4:1.

The Italian footballer recognized that this match had become special for him, and even for the first time in his coaching career, the defeat screamed even more strongly.

“First of all, I told the Gravians that I had never cried through pain before. “But today, when I turned to the counter, I couldn’t stream,” confessed De Dzerbi.

The coach emphasized that the team was seriously preparing for the confrontation with the venerable champion of France.

“We have realized miraculously that PSG is already demonstrating, perhaps, the best football in Europe.. Ale popritse, Marcel himself deserved the victory today,” said the coach.

De Dzerbi also said that he had obtained from his team all the key warehouses for great results.

" This match had it all: organization in defense, individual mastery, character and tactical discipline.. “Today, Marseille showed everything that a great club needs to win,” he said.

It seems likely that PSG took part in the French Super Cup as the champion and leader of the Regional Cup, while Marseille denied the right to play in the match for the trophy as a friend of the Ligue 1 team in the bag last season.
