On the first day of winter the weather in Ukraine will be cloudy. During the day, temperatures above zero will be observed throughout the country; thermometers will show slight frost at night only in the north of the country.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center spoke about what Monday will be like. Detailed meteorological information and maps are published on the UkrHMC website.

On Monday the wind will be predominantly easterly, at a speed of 3-8 meters per second.

In the western and Zhytomyr regions there is fog, visibility is 200-500 meters, which is why the UkrHMC announced the I (yellow) danger level.

“Weather conditions may lead to traffic complications,” experts warned.

At night in the southern part, during the day in most western and Vinnytsia regions there will be light rain (in the Carpathians with sleet). In the rest of the territory on the first winter day there was no significant precipitation.

Temperatures at night average from +3 to 0 (in some places up to -2 below zero); during the day it will be from +8 to +3 degrees. The exception is the southern region, where at night it will be from +9 to +4, during the day from +12 to +7 degrees.
