On Sunday, November 30, the Ukrainian men's team played a match of the 2nd round of the first round of qualification for the 2027 Basketball World Cup.

In a nominally home match in Riga, Ukrainian basketball players defeated the Danish team in excellent style (88:71).

Alexander Kovlyar from Buducnost gave a great match for the second consecutive match, scoring 28 points.

Three of the four teams in the group will pass the first stage of selection. The second stage of qualification is scheduled from August 2026 to March 1, 2027.

The final part of the World Cup will be held from August 27 to September 12, 2027 in Qatar.
