Barcelona have received agreement from UEFA to stage their next Champions League home match against Eintracht Frankfurt at the new Camp Nou.

Earlier it became known that the Blaugranas would return to their home arena in the next La Liga match with Athletic Bilbao, and now the Catalan club announced that they would also hold a European Cup match at the modernized stadium.

“The club is pleased to have the opportunity to return to performances at its stadium and continue promoting the project for the comprehensive transformation of the reconstructed arena,” the press service said in a statement.

The Champions League match Barcelona - Eintracht Frankfurt is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9.

As you know, Barcelona played their last match at Camp Nou in May 2023, after which modernization of the stadium began in June.
