Ex-mentor of Shakhtar, Dnipro-1 and Karpat Igor Jovichevich is close to turning into a coaching job. According to Turkish publication Fotomac, the Croatian Fahive is one of the candidates for the position of head coach of Kayserispor.
The Turkish club recently fired Marcus Gizdol due to unsatisfactory results and is now actively searching for a new coach who can stabilize the situation. Another contender for the vacant position is Marko Salatovich - assistant to Tim Yakirovich in the English Hull City.
Guess what, Jovicevic was released from Donetsk Shakhtar in 2023. After that, he recently worked in Saudi Arabia with the Al-Rayed club, and then lost Ludogorets, which deprived him of the snail of 2025.
After eight rounds of the Turkish Super League, Kayserispor is in 17th place with just 5 points left.
It was previously reported that SK Dnipro-1 lost on the right against Jovicevic in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
