Ukrainians who receive state social benefits, so as not to lose payments, are required to undergo physical identification. You can do this personally in the service center of the Pension Fund online through a video conference or in foreign dipecoles.
This is reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU). It is noted that this applies primarily to those who, since the beginning of a full-scale war, have not submitted applications for extension of assistance, as well as residents of territories where, due to hostilities, social protection authorities could not provide payments.
The recipients who suspend the accrual of social assistance in September 2025 should contact the Pension Fund with a statement and a package of the necessary documents. Only after this payments can be assigned or resumed.
The government also introduced an experimental project - basic social assistance instead of five separate types of payments. Its size is calculated individually, tied to the basic amount of minimum income per person in the family, which is now 4,500 hryvnias. According to Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, the government plans to make this system constant.
