Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Georgy Tikhiy confirmed that President Vladimir Zelensky will visit New York next week. He will lead the Ukrainian delegation during the 80th UN General Assembly, reports Supilna.

In response to a question NV, Tikhiy noted that Kyiv saw a signal from Secretary of State Mark Rubio about the possibility of meeting the presidents of Ukraine and the United States during the General Assembly. According to him, the Ukrainian side is tuned to such a meeting.

According to the president, Ukraine is preparing a rich diplomatic week as part of the UN General Assembly and it is very important that it becomes an impetus for new steps in diplomacy.
