In Cherkasy, a 39-year-old man ignored the TCC agenda and did not appear at a certain time at the collection point without a good reason. As a result, he was punished for evasion during martial law.

According to the representative of the Cherkasy regional prosecutor's office, Irina Sakun, the defendant did not have a delay from mobilization. At the end of September 2023, a man, who was suitable for military service for health reasons, received a summons at the Cherkasy city territorial center for recruitment and social support. However, it did not appear to the collection point at the established time.

The criminal case was opened under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - evasion of military service during mobilization. As a result, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to three years in prison.
