In Poltava on June 6, they said goodbye to the 26-year-old warrior Kirill Anikeev. The scout of the surveillance platoon 32 of a separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died in the Donetsk region on May 30.
The young Ukrainian made the decision to protect his native land as soon as he heard the first explosions of the missiles that Russia attacked the Ukrainian cities on February 24, on the same day, Cyril was already standing in line under the military enlistment office. When Russia began a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, Kirill Anikeev was 23 years old. In the morning, as soon as hearing the first explosions, he was already standing in line under the military registration and enlistment office in Poltava - along with hundreds of the same men of different ages who decided to repulse the enemy.
Then Cyril gave a short comment to the local media, explaining why he made such a decision.
" If no one comes out, we will lose so faster. I was born in Ukraine. I want Ukraine to remain the territory of Ukraine, ”the young man said obviously, then worrying.
Since November 2024, Cyril fought as part of 32 separate mechanized brigade. He was a scout of surveillance, carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region. One of them, for which Kirill Anikeev went on May 30, was the last for him.
Said goodbye to a young warrior in Poltava. Together with him, the Poltava residents spent two more defenders on the last journey: 39-year-old Artem Kutsenko and 47-year-old Valentin Sinitsa.
They buried Kirill Anikeev in his native village Yar.
