Safety Service and National Police on Monday, February 17, reported the detention of two Russian agents who implemented an order for a terrorist attack in the Khmelnitsky region-an explosion near the territorial setting center in Kamenets-Podolsky. According to the SBU, the defendants in the “Vet” used a courier from the delivery service to bring explosives to the goal that customers - special services of the Russian Federation. Then, as a result of the explosion near the TCC building in the Kamenets-Podolsky courier, he died on the spot, and eight more were injured of varying severity.

The department said that during the explosion, both performers of the crime were detained in hot pursuit and soon documented their connection with the Russian special service.

“The attackers were a local drug addict and 17-year-old student of the city college recruited through a telegram channel for the search for“ light ”earnings. Both defendants acted separately, but had a common Russian curator, ”the SBU said.

So, a minor guy, according to the instructions from the FSB, made a home -made explosive device and for maximum defeat filled it with nuts and scraps of reinforcement, and for remote detonation - equipped with a mobile phone.

The guy laid the finished device in a cache and handed it to the curator coordinates. The latter transferred the data to another drug addict who took the explosives.

The man was supposed to deliver an explosive device to the building of the local TCC under the guise of a parcel, but he realized that it could try to eliminate the “witness”, so he ordered courier delivery. As a result, when the courier arrived under the TCC, the invaders blew up the explosives with him.

During the searches, mobile phones were seized from the detainees with red -handed with Russian special services, as well as tools and components for the manufacture of explosives.

Currently, both detainees are reported to suspicion of P of 3. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a terrorist act that led to the death of a person. Men arrested. They face life imprisonment with property confiscation.
