" And you must believe. And I urge you to act - for yourself and for the sake of Europe - people of Europe, your peoples, your houses, your children and our common future. For this, Europe should become self -sufficient - united by common force, Ukrainian and European, ”he said.

" This is a reality now. Only our army in Europe has a real, modern experience of war. But only our army is also not enough. And we need what you can provide - weapons, training, sanctions, financing, political pressure and unity, ”the head of state said.

Zelensky warned that it is impossible to exclude the possibility that the United States could tell Europe "

" I think this time has come. The armed forces of Europe must be created, ”he summed up.

At the same time, Zelensky said that such armed forces will not be replaced by NATO.

" And we need the same approach when it comes to diplomacy - joint work in the name of the world, ”he explained.
