On the morning of February 11, emergency power outages were used in a number of regions of Ukraine. The reason was the threat of a massive missile attack by Russian aggressor.

" At night, the enemy attacked gas infrastructure. As of the morning, energy continues to remain at the sight, ”said Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko on Facebook.

He added that it is in order to minimize the possible consequences for the energy system that the transmission operator urgently applies emergency measures of electricity restrictions. The consequences of the attack will be clarified as soon as the security situation allows.

Earlier, Ukrenergo reported that on February 11, power restrictions in the supply of electricity will be used in the country, but only for industry and business. They will act from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 21:00. The shutdown for household consumers was not predicted the day before.
