The Verkhovna Rada Provisional Investigation Commission on Pricing in the Energy will appeal to the State Auditing Service of Ukraine with a request to conduct an audit of Neftegaz due to insufficient gas reserves in storage facilities.

This was stated by the head of the VSK and the People's Deputy from the Batkivshchyna faction Alexei Kucherenko.

During this meeting, the working group discussed the issues of gas reserves in storage facilities.

In particular, Kucherenko emphasized that the former head of Naftogaz said that Ukraine will have enough its own gas to pass the heating season. However, now Ukraine is forced to import gas.

Earlier, economist Alexei Kushch said that Neftegaz manipulations with gas sales in summer and lack of strategic planning led to a serious resource deficit in winter and problems for the whole country.
