In Ukraine, from January 1, an updated system for evaluating the daily functioning of the face has been operating, which replaced the ITU. Due to the introduction of a new system, some persons with disabilities were scheduled for a second inspection from January 1, 2025, but not everyone was able to pass it. Therefore, the period of disability was extended until the date of the decision on the results of the assessment, but not longer than until July 1, 2025. The Ministry of Health (the Ministry of Health) told how to document the automatic extension of disability.

How to document disability extension.

The Ministry of Health explained that such persons with disabilities were given an assessment of the period from January 1 to June 30, 2025 inclusive (provided that the decision on the results of the assessment will be made no later than June 30, 2025), and the period for which they set is set.

However, in persons with disabilities when interacting with state bodies (for example, territorial centers of recruitment and social support), it may be necessary to provide documentary confirmation of the fact of automatic extension of the disability period until June 30, 2025.

The department explained that for this you can use a pension certificate.

“The pension certificate indicates its validity period, which is actually a term for which the payment of a disability pension is extended,” the report said.

What are the existing forms of pension certificates.

In Ukraine, pension certificates exist in the following forms:.

Pension certificate in paper form (in the form of a rectangular sheet of paper with rounded corners), to which (at the request of the owner) an electronic display of a pension certificate in a mobile application or portal "

Pension certificate in electronic form (E-Pension Certificate), which is formed in the mobile application or portal \;

Electronic pension certificate in the form of a payment card issued earlier than JSC Oshdbank, which is used before its expiration or before replacement in the prescribed manner by new.

The Ministry of Health explained that a person with disabilities can form in the mobile application “DIA” both an e-retail certificate and an electronic display of a paper pension certificate.

“The main difference between them is that the formation of an electronic pension certificate is, in fact, receiving a new pension certificate, while an electronic display of a pension certificate is formed if there is a valid paper certificate or certificate in the form of a payment card, its validity period is not expired”.

What to do to a person who has only a paper pension certificate.

The department noted that if a person with disabilities has a pension certificate in paper form and, accordingly, it is impossible to get his display in the mobile application “DIA”, you can replace the certificate in paper with a retirement certificate.

“The procedure for replacing a pension certificate is the same as the procedure for its manufacture (formation). At the same time, the recipient of the pension must return to the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine a pre -issued paper pension certificate (if any), ”the report said.

The Ministry of Health added that it is possible to form an electronic pension certificate by submitting an application through the web portal of the electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or contacting any of the service centers of PFU.
