Territorial centers of completion and social support (TCC) do not have the authority to search for citizens who evade mobilization. This liability is entrusted exclusively to local authorities and law enforcement agencies. This was announced in an interview with Ukrinform by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk.

He emphasized that the main functions of TCC are accounting of mobilized, selection and understanding of defense forces. At the same time, their units do not search for citizens who ignore mobilization summons. This duty is assigned to local authorities and the police.

“A significant part of Ukrainians is convinced that exclusively TCCs are responsible for mobilization. This is wrong. The Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization” clearly defines all participants in the process, their tasks and areas of responsibility. Most of the mobilization measures are assigned to the authorities and the police. For example, if military liability citizens of Ukraine in martial law are not in the TCC, ensuring their delivery rests with local authorities and the police. For this, they have all the necessary powers, ”Gavrilyuk said.

Gavrilyuk also drew attention to the fact that, despite the development of modern technology and weapons, a person remains a key element of warfare. In addition, he emphasized the inadmissibility of the spread of negative information directed against TCC employees.

“You understand that without mobilization we will lose the country. No matter how many robotic complexes, means of defeat, weapons and military equipment we have - a person controls all this, ”he added.
