NATO, as an organization, will not cope with the defense of Europe without the involvement of the United States. “NATO, or what this organization will be called there, without the United States - for many reasons it will not work,” Rutte answered the question of whether Europe should start planning his own future defense, which, perhaps, would not include the United States.
