Ukraine managed to return to the territory controlled by the legal authorities another 12 children from the settlements temporarily seized by the troops of Russia. The return took place on Monday, February 3, as part of the initiative of President Vladimir Zelensky Bring Kids.

This was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak on his channel in Telegram. Among them there is a 17-year-old teenager whom the Russians tried to pick up in their criminal army, issuing him a summons.

In addition, it was possible to save a 16-year-old girl who lost her mother in occupation due to the negligence of occupation medicine.

The founder and head of the Save Ukraine charitable organization Nikolai Kuleb told who else they managed to pick up from the occupation. This is 15-year-old Julia, who was sent for a week to a camp near Moscow, where they organized excursions and "

It is also 8-year-old Vika, who, together with the dad, was hiding from the Russians in his own house. Her dad, refused to take Russian citizenship, was constantly afraid for his daughter's safety. A collaborator neighbor tried to select a child because of the Russian guardianship system.

13-year-old Ulyana lived for almost three years in occupation with her mother, who looked after a sick grandmother. She understood that she has no future in her native village, so she turned to Save Ukraine for help.

Kuleba clarified that in total it was possible to rescue 571 children from Russian captivity, including 129 orphans (59 guys and 70 girls).

" Every rescued child is a victory. And we continue to fulfill the tasks of the president - to return all children home to Ukraine, ”Yermak wrote.

In early December 2024, in the territories controlled by Ukraine, the Russian occupation managed to return six more children. Most of them are adolescents who were threatened by forced mobilization in the Russian army.

Also, eight more Ukrainian children from 6 to 16 years old were returned from Russian occupation to Ukraine. Many of them have experienced difficult trials.

On November 26, thanks to the initiative of Bring Kids Back Ua, two more Ukrainian children returned home. This is 6-year-old Maria and 14-year-old Veronica.
