13-year-old Ulyana lived for almost three years in occupation with her mother, who looked after a sick grandmother. She understood that she has no future in her native village, so she turned to Save Ukraine for help.

Kuleba clarified that in total it was possible to rescue 571 children from Russian captivity, including 129 orphans (59 guys and 70 girls).

" Every rescued child is a victory. And we continue to fulfill the tasks of the president - to return all children home to Ukraine, ”Yermak wrote.

In early December 2024, in the territories controlled by Ukraine, the Russian occupation managed to return six more children. Most of them are adolescents who were threatened by forced mobilization in the Russian army.

Also, eight more Ukrainian children from 6 to 16 years old were returned from Russian occupation to Ukraine. Many of them have experienced difficult trials.

On November 26, thanks to the initiative of Bring Kids Back Ua, two more Ukrainian children returned home. This is 6-year-old Maria and 14-year-old Veronica.
