Despite the war that Russia unleashed, Ukrainians continue to receive insurance payments. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Donetsk region told what types of insurance payments there are as a result of an accident in production or occupational disease.

PFU explained that in the event of an insured event, the insured person is compensated for damage caused as a result of an accident in the production of and/or occupational disease, or in case of death to persons entitled to this.

So, by the Law of Ukraine from 23. 09. 1999 No. 1105-XIV “On a compulsory state social insurance” provides for the following types of insurance payments:.

temporary disability assistance;

one -time assistance in case of persistent loss of professional ability to work;

Monthly insurance payments;

payments in case of temporary transfer to an easier, lower -paid job;

Monthly insurance payments to the victim, passing vocational training or retraining;

Monthly payments to a child born with disabilities due to injury or occupational disease of his mother during pregnancy;

Compensation to the victim and accompanying the person of the fare to the place of treatment and/or rehabilitation and in the opposite direction;

insurance payments to disabled family members at the death of the victim.
