The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on January 30, on Thursday, caused the ambassador of Slovakia in Ukraine Pavel Vizdal, which made a decisive rejection of the statements of the official Bratislava about the alleged intervention of Ukraine in the internal affairs of the Slovak Republic.

In particular, it was noted that the Ukrainian side supports and develops good contacts with all international partners who comprehensively help our state against the backdrop of the Russian full -scale armed aggression.

Deputy Minister Alexander Mishchenko expressed deep disappointment by the fact that the Prime Minister Fitzo is now acting as the Rupor of the Kremlin and, neglecting the belonging of the Slovak Republic to the European Union, resorts to illogical actions.

Alexander Mishchenko noted that such actions by representatives of Slovak power are unacceptable, especially in the context of the unprecedented aggression of Russia against Ukraine, and cause serious damage not only to the traditionally good relations between Ukraine and Slovakia, but also undermine the unity of the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic Community in counteracting the state.

Slovakia’s attempts are unacceptable to maintain dependence on the supply of Russian energy, contrary to the joint work of the EU and European partners to reduce such dependence and diversification of energy sources, as well as ignoring the arguments of the Ukrainian side about the deprivation of Russia's funding funds against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

Official Bratislava is designed to stop such a practice and return to the constructive dialogue and the development of good neighborly relations between our countries and peoples.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that the Ukrainian people, who today pays lives for their freedom and safety of the whole of Europe, retains deep gratitude to the people of Slovakia for all the support and help received from the beginning of full -scale Russian aggression.

Recall that the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo during the discussion in parliament regarding the stop of the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine called President Vladimir Zelensky the enemy of Slovakia. Zelensky, in turn, stated that the fifth does not use the opportunity to receive not Russian energy and pays for cheap Russian gas independence and sovereignty of his country.

“Our enemy is Zelensky. Zelensky created the problems that we have. I don't like him because he harms Slovakia, ”said Fitzo.
