The head of the department, Oksana Zholnovich, stated this at an online presentation of the achievements of the Ministry of Social Policy.. She explained that for this purpose the corresponding government bill should be adopted.

" When a person needs support with a disability, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a prosecutor, or some kind of accounting specialist, or a journalist. This does not matter, we must calculate the actual need for support, and not some special status, ”the head of the Ministry of Council emphasized.

According to Zholnovich, the government bill equalizes all approaches to calculating disability benefits regardless of the status. However, the new rules will not apply to participants in the fighting for whom support will be preserved separately.

“Secondly, in order to ensure fairness in the general system of special pensions, when certain categories of pensioners retire faster and are calculated according to higher parameters than the general rule, we, accordingly, in the law on the state budget, as well as in a special resolution, limited the coefficients. UAH. These, as a rule, will be prosecutors and other top officials who received very high pensions,” the minister noted.
