Ukrainian boxer of Armenian origin Aram Faniyan (26-2, 6 KOs) confidently defeated Argentinean Nicholas Hara (13-7, 6 KOs), defending the WBO Global junior welterweight title. The main duel of the SPARTABOX FANIAN show in the Kiev Sports Palace ended with a unanimous decision of the judges: 119–109, 119–105 and 118–107.

Fanyan dominated at the beginning of the battle, sending Haru to Canvas three times already in the second round. However, instead of completing the battle ahead of schedule, the Ukrainian decided to go to a power confrontation, which allowed the opponent to partially recover and even temporarily intercept the initiative.

After the middle of the battle, Faniyan changed tactics and again took control of what was happening. The final rounds remained with the Ukrainian.

For a 27-year-old native of Yerevan, this victory became the 26th in a professional career. The boxer, who lives in Brovary, continues his journey in the junior welterweight division, proving that he is capable of competing at a high level.

Commenting on his victory Fanyan admitted that he was very tired.

" Before that, I boxed a maximum of 10 rounds. Now I am leaving boxers from the Latin American school - Mexicans, Argentines. I already know that for them a knockdown is only a new stage, they become even more rigid. Therefore, I was ready to fight all 12 rounds, ”Aram said.

Despite the three knockdown Argentine continued the confrontation, but the Ukrainian confidently brought the matter to the victory.

" I am ready to conquer all the peaks that will submit to me. For all the will of God, so I am ready for anything, "

Note that on the same show, Ukrainian heavyweight Dmitry Lovchinsky (1-0, 1 KO), a participant in the 2024 Olympic Games, successfully debuted in a professional ring. The 25-year-old native of Brovary (Kiev region) confidently knocked out Georgian journeyman Paatu Aduashvili in the first round, who has a record of 10 wins, 37 losses and 3 draws (5 of which by knockout).
