Prime Minister Denis Schmigal held a meeting with representatives of ministries of social policy, education and science, as well as healthcare. At the meeting, attention was focused on the need to expand social programs in order to provide support for as many Ukrainians as possible.

The key topic was the issue of comprehensive support for families, in particular, activities at all stages of parenthood - from pregnancy to children’s schooling.

“Our goal is to create all the necessary conditions for parents so that they can freely not only take care of the child, but also work,” he said.

As a result of the meeting, government members were instructed to develop a comprehensive strategy for supporting fatherhood, which will take into account both financial assistance and access to educational and medical services for families.

Recall that today the amount of assistance from the state at the birth of a child is 15 thousand hryvnias at a time and 50 thousand hryvnias until a child reaches the age of three. Assistance for the birth of a second and third child is 100 and 150 thousand. UAH.
