The President’s Verkhovna Rada and the office work to extend the deadline for re -passing a medical examination is limited to suitable military service and not yet apply fines. According to the law, they must re -pass the VLK until February 4, but not everyone can have time.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the OP Irina Vereshchuk on Friday, January 24. To date, most of them (more than 1 million people) have not yet undergone appropriate medical examinations.

This happened, among other things, because they did not receive calls to the VLK or could not receive them at the TCC due to queues.

She promised that the authorities will figure out how this happened and who is responsible for the unsatisfactory organization of the process.

“Firstly, together with deputies we are working on introducing legislative changes to extend the period for a second medical examination for those with limited fitness. Secondly, we are working on regulatory changes so as not to apply fines for now,” wrote Vereshchuk.

She also noted that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health urgently provide proper GC work schedules in order to work out all suitable.

Recall that President Vladimir Zelensky in April 2024 signed Law No. 3621-IX " Until February 4, 2025, those with limited fitness had to re-pass the VLC, based on the results of which doctors had to decide which group a man of military age would belong to.
