The bodies of 757 dead soldiers were returned to Ukraine. .

From among the warriors returned “to the shield”:.

- 451 from the Donetsk direction;

71 from Bakhmut direction;

51 from the Ugro direction;

- 13 from the Lugansk direction;

- 137 from Zaporozhye direction;

- 34 dead were returned from the morgues in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The fallen defenders were returned as a result of the joint work of employees of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Central Directorate of Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Joint Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Office of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Persons' Issues.
