Borussia Dortmund are in talks with Niko Kovac, writes Florian Plettenberg.

Let us remind you that earlier the Bumblebees fired head coach Nuri Sahin and are now looking for a new coach.

However, Borussia wants to find a replacement for Sahin before the end of the season, and conduct a full selection of candidates in the summer.

The club is currently negotiating with Niko Kovac, but the Croatian wants to get a contract until the end of the season with an extension option. Borussia is not interested in such an option.

If negotiations with Kovacs fail, the next candidate is ex-Union coach Urs Fischer.

Earlier it was also reported that Borussia had set its sights on the Ukrainian national team player.
