The 29-year-old domestic boxer will soon find out the name of his next opponent. Sergey Bogachuk will enter the ring against the winner of the fight between Virgil Ortiz and Israil Madrimov, reports the World Boxing Council.

The American will meet with the Uzbek on February 22. Ortiz will fight as interim champion according to the World Boxing Council. Bogachuk met with the US representative in August last year - he knocked him down twice, but the judges scandalously gave the victory to the American boxer.

The Ukrainian, after losing to Ortiz in December, defeated Briton Ishmael Davis. Bogachuk sent his opponent to the floor already in the 2nd round, and in the 6th the Davis team refused to continue the fight.
