The debt of the Ukrenergo company to investors in green energy amounts to UAH 22.1 billion.

This is stated in the information certificate of the state enterprise Guaranteed Buyer.

At the same time, the company also reports that the share of payments for electricity from renewable sources at the end of 2024 amounted to 79.6%. That is, green energy enterprises did not receive more than 20% of the funds.

According to Harpok, significant debt remains unpaid for 2022 – the settlement rate is only 62.2%. At the same time, it is indicated that there are almost no debts for the “green” electricity produced in the country in 2021 and 2023. 99.7% and 95.3% of funds were paid, respectively.

As previously reported, according to experts, the government, parliament and the National Energy Commission must save the energy sector from paralysis due to the existing constantly increasing multi-billion dollar debts.
