A large-scale campaign to de-shadow the electronics market is planned in Ukraine - special attention will be paid to points selling Apple equipment. The corresponding instructions were issued by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Daniil Getmantsev (“Servant of the People”).

Also, the tax service must develop and agree on a plan for working out wholesale and retail sellers of consumer electronics for 2025, as well as their actual tax audits. A timekeeping tool will be applied to stores with high tax risks.

In addition, tax control measures are required for individual entrepreneurs involved in the sale of equipment and electronics (including Apple). It should be carefully examined whether such entrepreneurs can be on a simplified taxation system or in groups 1-3 of the single tax.

The urgency of such decisions is explained by the fact that a significant share of the electronics market is in the “shadow”, so annual budget losses reach tens of billions of hryvnias. This happens, in particular, due to the sale of electronics for cryptocurrency - in this case this is not reflected in the accounting.
