Kryukova, Shufrich, Baysarov and Muraev: Zelensky signed a decree on new NSDC sanctions

President Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against 18 people, including those who supported Russian aggression: Nestor Shufrich, Evgeniy Muraev, Pyotr Simonenko, Svetlana Kryukova and Vasily Gerello. Sanctions include blocking of assets, a ban on entry into Ukraine and financial restrictions for these individuals.

This is stated in Decree No. 38/2025 “On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated January 19, 2025 “On the application and abolition of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”. The corresponding document was published on the official website of the head of state.

Sanctions were applied to 18 individuals, including politicians, cultural figures and journalists who have pro-Russian positions or who directly contributed to aggression against Ukraine. The list included:.

President Zelensky also noted that the state continues to deprive state awards of persons whose actions undermine national security.. He also stated that these sanctions are part of a systematic effort to cleanse Ukraine of the influence of Russian agents..

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andrei Kovalenko, highly praised these measures, emphasizing that they are aimed at combating pro-Russian propaganda and protecting national interests. The President announced the introduction of new sanctions decisions in the near future.
