In February, the Ukrainian women's basketball team will play the final matches in the qualification for the 2025 European Championship. The coaching staff of the national team has decided on the expanded composition of the national team for the upcoming meetings.

On February 6, in an away game, our national team will face the Portuguese national team, and on February 9 in Riga, Latvia will play against North Macedonia at the Olympic Center in a nominally home match at 20:00.

8 group winners will qualify for the European Championship, as well as 4 best second places in qualification, to determine which all matches in the group will be taken into account. The European Championship will be held in four countries - the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Greece in the summer of 2025. Each country will host matches from one of the four groups in the main round, with the knockout matches taking place in Greece.
