The head of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Entertainment, Turki Al Al-Sheikh, commented on the announcement of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury about his retirement.
According to the functionary, he regrets that the Briton made such a decision, but accepts it and hopes that the boxer can still change his mind.
" Perhaps in such a situation, guys evaluate whether they are still able to give something or not. I can say that as a boxing fan I don't like it.
We fans want to see Tyson in more big fights, but I can understand his decision. I can imagine that it may change over time,” Al ash-Sheikh was quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
Anthony Joshua's opponent was previously named if Tyson Fury does not resume his career.
